RTK Autosteer in Detail
GF Controls RTK autosteer steers your tractor along perfectly straight lines while you keep your eyes on the implement. Create an A/B line or follow a contour on the Apollo display, switch autosteer on, and every pass stays within ±1 inch (2.5 cm) — in daylight, darkness or fog. That means less overlap, lower costs for seed, fertilizer, chemicals and diesel, and far less fatigue after a long day in the cab.
The three components work as one: the Smart RTK Antenna on the cab roof knows exactly where you are, the display compares your position with your line, and the steering wheel motor turns your own steering wheel to hold it. When you turn at the headland, the system picks up the next line quickly, without hunting back and forth.
It fits virtually any machine with a steering wheel. You can install it yourself in about an hour, with no hydraulic work and no new steering wheel, and the user-friendly interface needs no special training. If you prefer, one of our service partners will install it for you.
We also supply the RTK correction signal together with a SIM card designed for agricultural use, so everything comes from one place: no base station of your own and no separate provider, at an RTK price that is hard to beat.
Running two machines? With the Bundle, your second machine gets its own steering motor, harness and mounts, so you only move the display and antenna. With the Bundle Pro, you only swap the screen.
